Anna started dancing at the age of three and is a fully qualified and registered dance teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of teachers of Dance.
Anna has taught ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary in the dance education sector up to advanced/pre professional level. She was a teacher trainer of the dance education initiative ‘LittleMagicTrain/ Angelina Ballerina/ HI5 and worked for Walt Disney Theatrical supporting the production team of The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.
In a two and a half year contract in Tokyo working for the ‘International Dance Academy’ and ‘Ariake New City Ballet’ Anna worked to launch the Royal Academy of Dance examination syllabi back into the school, as well as to assist in establishing the careers of Japanese dancers in the West.
Anna was core to the planning, creation, development and teaching of the choreographic work; and had a large input into the programme creation of the Alice in Wonderland benefit performance for Haiti (2010).
Alongside her work at Stonyhurst Anna continues her professional and academic development through postgraduate study at the University of Warwick.
