Today is a very important day. It is the day that our new boarding pupils arrive to take up residence at the College for the very first time. Nearly 100 new boarders have hauled, pushed and dragged suitcases to their rooms with the help of this year’s Committee.

The Headmaster welcomed the new pupils, their families and friends to the College at a reception in the Top Refectory. Mr Johnson introduced the Playroom staff and other staff during his welcome. He advised parents to expect lots of calls in the first few days but that these would dry up over the coming weeks. It would then be the parents trying to contact their children as the pupils would be having such a busy time and enjoying themselves they would forget to phone home.
