This was the second in the programme of talks organised by the Politics Society. A large and interested audience listened carefully to Dr Rob Busby of Liverpool Hope University talk expertly on elections in the USA. He gave a brilliant explanation of difficult concepts such as the Electoral College and the Primaries.

Dr Busby is a well known expert on US politics and a regular visitor to the College. After the talk he answered a range of questions and gave some interesting observations on President Obama’s chances of a second term in office!
