The CCF conducted a Field Weekend on 10th and 11th October, somewhere on the College estate….

Major Barber writes:

Senior Company deployed somewhere on the College estate on Saturday evening and bedded down “under Basha's”. The evening was mild with some rainfall during the night but happily all cadets remained dry!

 After breakfast, and an early morning visit by the Headmaster, the cadets practised their Field Craft Skills, Patrolling, Model Building with Orders Sequence and Harbour Area establishment. It was an excellent and impressive 24 hours.
 
Junior Company assembled in the Ambulacrum on Sunday 11 Oct 09 for 0900 and underwent a number of activities such as Camouflage and Concealment, Basic Map Reading, Drill and Shooting on the Range.  The Cadets had an enjoyable day and even the rain didn't dampen their spirits.
