The Stonyhurst College Big Band is going on tour to Paris at half term. The band, which plays a variety of jazz and swing, will be performing outside Notre Dame Cathedral, under the Eiffel Tower, beside the River Seine and at Disneyland.

The Big Band is giving a concert on Thursday 22^nd October at 7.30pm in the Top Ref, and everyone is welcome to attend. The programme will include big band classics such as Fly me to the moon, Chattanooga Choo Choo and Rock this town.

The concert is free but there will be refreshments for sale, a raffle and a retiring collection in aid of tour funds. Please contact the school Reception on 01254 826345 if you would like to come along and hear the Band’s big, toe-tapping sound before the Parisians do!
