The Great Pink Run
Higher and Lower Line girls turned very pink on Wednesday afternoon and ran around the College pitches for Zimbabwe. Each year-group has linked up with a particular child at St Peter’s Jesuit School, Kubatana, and is raising money to pay for his or her education, as well as exchanging letters and photographs. Syntax girls are well ahead of their £40 a term target, having raised £258 already since September!
Thankfully, heavy rain stopped just in time for the start, so pink tutus, wings, wigs and fluffy ears stayed perfect throughout. “We were very pleased that so many girls joined the run. It was a great combination of fun, frolics, tutus and action for something we really care about,” said Miss Lyndsay Fielding, the Lower Line girls’ housemistress.
