'Sweeney Todd'
David Mann was a darkly menacing 'Demon Barber of Fleet Street', whose anguish was lightened (for the audience, at least) by Natalie Crouch's hilarious, pie-making Mrs Lovett. The entire cast brought out the macabre humour of the musical with tremendous energy and sang Sondheim's complex music with confidence and skill. The set, lighting and costumes all created a small, grotesque corner of Victorian England. Thank you to everyone involved for unforgettable performances!
