England Hockey coach visits Stonyhurst

Stonyhurst hosted a ‘Future Stars’ Hockey Masterclass with Kwan Browne on Saturday 14th June. Kwan has 250 Trinidad caps and has been awarded England Hockey ‘Performance Coach of the year’. He has been working with Sky Sports at the Hockey World Cup as part of the commentary team.
Over 30 promising hockey players from Stonyhurst and Springfields Hockey Club took part. All have represented Lancashire, or the North, this year. The masterclass was sponsored by KABO, a new hockey brand set up by local businessman and hockey player Matt Banks.
Mrs Emma Kay, Head of Girls’ Games at Stonyhurst said: “The Stonyhurst girls really enjoyed the day with Kwan and benefited enormously from his inspirational coaching!”
