Mrs Lucinda Fisher
Joined Stonyhurst in 2001
Mrs Fisher read Physics at St Hugh’s College Oxford, with Nuclear and Particle Physics as major areas of study in her final year. She spent the first years of her teaching career teaching physics at Shrewsbury School. Mrs Fisher also taught physics and maths at QEGS and BGS before being appointed at Stonyhurst College in 2001, becoming Head of Physics in 2004.
She is proud of the fact that physics is such a popular choice for both boys and girls at both GCSE and in Higher Line.
Mrs Fisher is also Head of Science and Oxbridge Tutor at the College, and believes strongly that aspiration in a teacher is a powerful factor in ensuring that pupils achieve their true academic potential.
Mrs Fisher enjoys travel, classical music, 18C and 19C English and French literature, skiing and cooking.
