Lower Elements hit the target!
Upper Elements have been investigating the forces and motion of medieval weaponary during their science lessons and as part of this they have been looking at archery. Former St. Mary's Hall teacher and archery coach Alan Lovegrove paid us a visit and gave the pupils hands-on experience of the forces involved. The pupils learnt about elasticity, air resistance and also improved their aim!
