Military OS return to College

Inspection of CCF

On 10th March 2011 the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment were given the Freedom of the Borough and to mark this event they marched through the town centre of Clitheroe.

Following this a Civic Reception was held in the Ambulacrum at College.

To mark this event the Development Office invited a number of OS to who had served in the Armed Forces to return and take part in the event.

A small reception was held in the Stuart Parlour and was then followed by congregating at the Glass Doors to watch the current CCF being inspected by the Commanding Officer of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.

This was followed by a hearty lunch, including a specially made sausage for the occasion! Members of the College community joined with the Regiment and the OS to toast the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment.
