Congratulations to the four Poets who took part in the Society of Biology Quiz (North West) at UCLAN on June 29th.  Joe Bell, Luke Flatley, Michelle D'Souza and Tom Waring came a creditable second out of 22 participating schools in a challenging Quiz which took over three hours to complete and tested aspects of Biological knowledge from Natural History to Forensic Science.  They were awarded a Society of Biology mug and a signed copy of 'Nature's Great Events' by Glyn Morton, Emeritus Professor of Microbiology in the school of Forensic and Investigative Sciences at UCLAN.  Well done to all four for a great team effort.
