CCF Field Weekend
CCF Field Weekend, October 2011
Junior and Senior Companies had their first Field Weekend of the new academic year recently, with Senior Company deploying into the woods on the Stonyhurst estate to establish a harbour area with Century Stag routine. After a night under bashas, Sunday was a full day of activities including CQG, Observation Lane and Casualty Evacuation drills, culminating in an afternoon Section Attack.
Junior Company assembled on the Sunday and undertook their Drill Syllabus along with Field Craft and Patrolling. The reasonable weather added to the success of the weekend. Congratulations to all, particularly to our newly appointed Junior Under Officers.
