The Poetry Retreat

Poets doing silly things on retreat

Poets (students in Year 12) spent a day on retreat recently, at Loyola Hall, Liverpool. Led by Fr Matthew Power SJ, Poets took time to reflect on their faith, their gifts and talents and their place in the Stonyhurst community as members of Higher Line (the sixth form). Discussion, group activities, prayer and a Mass at the end of the day inspired everyone to consider St Ignatius’ aim of “improvement in living and learning for the greater glory of God and the common good.”
