Armistice Day
FRIDAY, 11th NOVEMBER
Stonyhurst pupils and staff gathered at the College War Memorial on Armistice Day for a Service of Remembrance. Major Barber read an extract from Lawrence Binyon’s poem, For the Fallen, and Luke Flatley (Rhetoric) played the Last Post. After two minutes silence, the Reveille was sounded and pupils placed their poppies on the Memorial before returning to lessons.
