CCF Easter Camp
A total of 50 cadets attended the Cadets Training Camps over the Easter holiday, held at Moorhouse Farm, Warcop in Cumbria. About half of these were Junior Cadets on Adventure Training, participating in caving, mountain biking, rock climbing, sailing and canoeing, as well as a Duke of Edinburgh Bronze practice expedition in self sufficiency.
Senior Cadre battled some severe weather to complete successfully their NCO Cadre Course, which included patrolling, ambush, section battle and harbour drills culminating in a 48 hour tactical exercise.
A very enjoyable and successful camp was enjoyed by all, in spite of the variable weather, and congratulations go to all who took part.
