The Girls' Games Awards

 Girls games

On Wednesday 9th May, 95 girls, 12 members of staff and the Headmaster descended on The Shireburn Arms for the second annual Girls' Games Awards.

 Girls games awards

34 awards across 5 different sports and 4 different age groups were awarded, including ‘Players' Player of the Year’, ‘Most Improved Player of the Year’ and (the most coveted) ‘Player of the Year’.

 Girls games

After a delicious meal of lasagne or hotpot, fruit punch and yummy home-made biscuits, each coach gave a speech outlining the year’s highlights before each captain stood up to talk about the season.

With thanks to all members of staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to help improve the girls' skills and match-play, and well done to everybody who has represented Stonyhurst in girls’ sport this year - you are all stars!!
