Off to see the Wizard!
Forty pupils attended a highly entertaining version of The Wizard of Oz at the Bolton Octagon theatre this week. There were no references to Kansas or ruby slippers; this Dorothy had been blown off course from Farnworth and sported a pair of red baseball boots! The catchy singing, audience participation and rambunctiousness made for an enjoyable evening – though I don’t think anyone had as much fun as the actor playing the Cowardly Lion.
