School's Challenge Quiz Finals
St Mary's Hall's quiz team narrowly lost in the final of the North Lancashire heat of School's Challenge- a nationwide quiz based on University Challenge. Despite knowing that Alex Salmond is leader of the Scottish National Party and that Achilles was invulnerable except for his heel, Lancaster Royal Grammar school pipped them at the post. Our team's gentlemanly manners and graciousness in defeat were outstanding. Well done boys!
