A double victory for Stonyhurst rugby!
A tremendous afternoon's rugby on Sunday March 27th at Vale of Lune Rugby Club saw a double triumph for Stonyhurst. The U14 team beat Morecombe 37-15 to win the Lancashire Cup, closely followed by a victory for the Stonyhurst U16s, who beat Arnold 43-5 to win the Lancashire Plate!
U14 rugby has had an outstanding season at Stonyhurst, winning all 17 of their games. They have also won three seven-a-side tournaments, at Rydal, Giggleswick and Hymers College.
Congratulations to both teams and their coaches, and many thanks to all the parents and friends who came to cheer them on.
