The Stonyhurst College Golf Society’s Captain’s Day was on Wednesday 4th May. Captain Ed Simon (Rhetoric) drove into office, watched by the other members of the Society. The sun shone, the competition was fierce and a good day was enjoyed by all. Over 30 pupils took part, from all Playrooms.
For the first time ever the Stableford competition finished in a three-way tie between Carl Jaspar (Rh), Tim Riedl (Poetry) and Matt Nolan(Poetry). Carl eventually won the trophy on a card-countback.

The annual Stonyhurst Park Golf Club charity competition took place on Friday 6th May. The College entered three teams: Governors, Staff and Pupils. In a first for Stonyhurst College the Pupils won the event!
