March 2nd 2013 – Sodality Afternoon of Recollection for Lent
The College is arranging a Sodality Afternoon of Recollection for Lent 2013, to be held on Saturday 2nd March at 2.30pm, in the Emmaus Centre. The day will consist of prayer, a talk by a priest, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and opportunity for Confession and Mass. There will be refreshments available and a light supper of soup, bread and cheese at the end. All are welcome and anyone interested in attending is advised to contact Michael Turner at the College by email (m.turner@stonyhurst.ac.uk) or Simon Whittle, Prefect of the Sodality (3116@stonyhurst.ac.uk) for further information.

May 12th 2013 – Stonyhurst Pilgrimage Trust, Trustees Meeting and Lourdes Reunion
May 18th –19th 2013 – OS Families’ Weekend
In collaboration with the College, for those with children approaching the right age, who might be interested in Stonyhurst. This will be a relaxed, informative and enjoyable weekend for all, to see the school with absolutely no obligation. Ask the Association Office for full details which will be available shortly.
May 24th - 2013 – Great Academies Champagne Reception for Parents and Staff
June 8th 2013 - Lourdes Preparation Day
There will be a preparation day at Stonyhurst College for its pupils and for those volunteer helpers in the north of England, both new and returning. This will be taking place on Saturday 8th June 2013. All experienced and new helpers are invited to attend the preparation day together. The preparation day starts in the morning and finishes in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
Pupils should note that their attendance is compulsory!
June 13th 2013 – London Convivium, Thames River Cruise
The last cruise was held in 2011 and we have been asked by many to repeat this summer convivium. The date for 2013 has now been confirmed and we are currently planning the details. A booking form will be available early in the spring, and details will be also on the website.
July 6th and 7th July 2013 – Poetry 1973 Reunion
A reunion for OS who left from Syntax in 1971 and from Poetry in 1973 is being arranged at the College. Gerald Slocock is co-ordinating the reunion and a booking form is available from the Association Office or by contacting Gerald at: Gerald.Slocock@ingeniousam.co.uk
August 23rd – 30th 2013 – Lourdes Pilgrimage
September 14th 2013 – Stonyhurst Association Annual Dinner at Hurlingham
The Annual Dinner will be held at Hurlingham when Judge James Hanratty OS 1964 will preside. The guest speaker will be Professor Lord Hennessy. A booking form is being prepared and will be available in the New Year. It will be emailed to all those for whom we have an email address and will also be available to download from the website.
September 27th 2013 – Robert Persons SJ Lecture
Following the lecture that took place in Oxford in 2010 we plan to arrange a second lecture. This will be held at Stonyhurst College, and will be led by Professor Peter Davidson of Aberdeen University and Jan Graffius the College Curator. Further details will be available shortly.
November 8th - 10th , 2013 - Association Ignatian Retreat
You are invited to the second Stonyhurst Association silent retreat, a ‘taster’ experience of the ways of prayer and reflection that are to be found in the ‘Spiritual Exercises’ of St Ignatius Loyola. Through silent prayer, individual guidance and the opportunity (if we wish) to share our experience in groups, the retreat will introduce us to the heart of what Ignatius has to say to people like us about how our relationship with God can be deepened. November 9th and 10th 2013 – Reunion 1975-1977
A reunion for OS who left from Syntax in 1975 and from Rhetoric in 1977 is being arranged at the College. Victor Keunen is co-ordinating the reunion and a booking form is available from the Association Office or by contacting Victor at: vkeunen@gmail.com
November 23rd 2013 – Reunion 2003
