Excursions
Excursions are an important feature of the course and all trips are fun-packed yet instructive, with various language skills integrated into the excursion programme. During each two week course students will experience two full-day excursions and two half-day excursions to some of the region's best cultural, educational and leisure attractions.
The first full-day excursion will take in the legendary beauty of Lake Windermere where a day of sailing and tree top challenges will await our students. The second full-day excursion to the famous seaside town of Blackpool incorporates a visit to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, a traditional 'fish and chip' lunch and an afternoon's adventure at one of the country's top amusement parks, Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort.
Our two half-day excursions are to Chill Factor E, an indoor snow activity centre; and the Trafford Centre, one of the UK's largest shopping and leisure complexes where there will be the chance to buy gifts for home.
All of the excursion destinations are within an hour's coach ride, so there are no long journeys to endure. Students will be accompanied by experienced language school staff at all times.
