Weddings
Exclusively available to former pupils of the College only, Stonyhurst makes the perfect location for your special day. With its majestic setting, beautiful gardens, tranquil location and magnificent historic buildings, you are assured of a truly unique and magical wedding.
The wedding ceremony would take place in the beautiful Victorian church of St Peter's, which is located in the College grounds. Opened in 1832, St. Peter’s Church is a small version of King’s College Chapel at Cambridge, and the interior is simply stunning.
Outside of ‘term time’, we can also provide a Champagne and Canapé Reception in the College itself. There are a number of rooms to choose from, including the Top Refectory, which is ideal for the larger wedding party, or the Pieta Gallery, which is perfect for the smaller, more intimate wedding group.
Please note, we are unable to provide facilities for a wedding breakfast or an evening reception but there are a number of excellent hotels and venues within easy reach of the College, who could cater for this aspect of your wedding day.
