The Christmas Cabaret

The programme included the Flanders and Swan song 'Mud, glorious mud', sonorously sung by the tenors and basses,  and a lively performance of 'The Emperor's New Clothes', narrated by Mr Jonathan Smith. Joyce Grenfell's song 'I'm going to see him today' was followed by her 'Nativity Play' sketch, acted by Miss Johanna Egar. A really enjoyable, festive evening concluded with 'The Twelve days of Christmas'.
