Hugh Whittam is a fully qualified English language teacher who is currently working in Malaga, Spain. He has seven years’ experience of working as a Director of Studies in summer schools in England. He has wide experience in English language teaching, having taught in many countries including Japan, Greece, Poland, Spain and the UK.
This is Hugh’s fourth year in the role of Course Director at Stonyhurst Language School, after successfully leading the Language School to British Council Accreditation during the Summer of 2014.

Matthew Siegal is a Delta qualified English teacher who is based in Katowice, Poland. He has been teaching for five years and carrying out teacher training for two years. In his role in Katowice, Matt is a Senior Teacher at a prestigious private language school. He has taught students from all over the globe during his experiences teaching in Poland, the UK and South-East Asia. Matt joined the Stonyhurst Language School team in the summer of 2014 and was part of the team that worked towards and achieved British Council Accreditation. He very much enjoyed creating a course designed specifically for teenage learners of English and working closely with the teaching team, as well as the other members of staff at the school.

Corinna Atkinson is responsible for the organisation of the afternoon sports, evening activities and the various day trips. Corinna (a former student at Stonyhurst College) has been working for Stonyhurst Language School since its formation in 2011, previously as an Activity Leader. She is currently in her final year at university studying languages and after having lived in both France and Spain, she has developed a greater understanding of different cultures around the world and is keen to share her knowledge as she will soon begin her training to become a modern languages teacher in the UK.
