Evenings are complete with drinks, canapes and illustrated talks from our Curator and Archivist, featuring exclusive behind the scenes viewings of fascinating aspects of the renowned Stonyhurst Collections, Libraries and Archives.
Historic Festive Recipes
The Curator will reveal the secret recipe for Catherine the Great's favourite pudding made by her Jesuit chef, along with other festive recipes from the College's collection of cooking manuscripts.

An Illuminated Christmas: An Introduction to Stonyhurst's Medieval Masterpieces
Illuminated manuscripts contain some of the finest works of art to survive from the Middle Ages and are able to provide vibrant ‘windows’ into medieval life. Our Archives Manager will exclusively introduce some of the most remarkable, historic and beautiful medieval manuscripts housed in the Stonyhurst museum.
