A Night at the Museum - Great Schemes Unrealised

The return of our popular evenings at the oldest museum in the English-speaking world

Evenings are complete with drinks, canapes and illustrated talks from our Curator and Archivist, featuring exclusive behind the scenes viewings of fascinating aspects of the renowned Stonyhurst Collections, Libraries and Archives.

Stonyhurst as it could have been...

For many people, Stonyhurst and its built environments hold great significance both historically and personally, often remembered ‘as they knew it.’ But it all could have been drastically different. This talk and private view, hosted by the Archives Manager, will explore huge unbuilt projects from the 17th to 20th centuries which would have dramatically altered Stonyhurst as we know it today.

Thursday 30th May | 7.00pm - 9.00pm

An Evening Private View with an illustrated talk, glass of wine and canapes. Limited places available - book early to avoid disappointment.
