Summer Language School
The Stonyhurst Summer Language School is a vibrant, international program designed for young learners to experience the unique atmosphere of Stonyhurst College, while improving their language skills and enjoying a variety of enriching activities. The program typically caters to students from around the world and offers: English Language Course, Academic Enrichment, Cultural and Recreational Activities, Sports and Adventure, International Community, Accommodation and Pastoral care.
Our Summer Language School is a fully residential programme with children staying in our historic boarding houses and soaking up all that the amazing grounds of Stonyhurst has to offer.
Residential Lettings
During school holidays, we manage a wide range of residential programmes, catering to diverse groups and interests. These have included religious retreats, immersion programmes with overseas students, tennis camps, rugby camps, Charity respite programmes, and choirs!
Our residential offerings provide participants with full access to the college’s extensive facilities, including accommodation, dining, and recreational amenities, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive experience for all guests.
Film and Location Hire
Stonyhurst, a stunning 16th-century estate in the heart of the Ribble Valley, offers an extraordinary location for film and photography. With its grand architecture, sweeping landscapes, and rich history, this iconic venue provides a versatile and captivating backdrop for any production. Whether for period dramas or modern shoots, Stonyhurst's timeless charm is the perfect setting to bring your creative vision to life.
Sports Camps
Sports Camps at Stonyhurst continue to be very popular and very well attended. We run our camps throughout the School Holidays, and currently these include Rugby, Tennis and Netball. We are very fortunate to collaborate with amazing external professionals who are elite in their fields to deliver these camps, always giving the children a fun filled experience!
