Rugby Camp
At Stonyhurst we believe that sport is a key component to the development of young people. Not only does this provide a means of exercise and learning new skills, but also gives them an opportunity to develop essential traits such as leadership, honesty, discipline and teamwork that can be used in all aspects of sports and any future career.
Stonyhurst is world famous for its Rugby, providing several pupils with the training and experience to go on to have successful professional sporting careers. We can boast several international sports people among our alumni, including Joe Ansbro (played for Scotland); Will Greenwood, Kyran Bracken and Iain Balshaw (all members of the England squad who won the 2003 Rugby World Cup).
The Stonyhurst Rugby Experience for Easter 2025 will be led by Dino Radice and a team of experienced coaches.

Testimonials
'Dino's coaching helped me develop massively when I was in my younger part of my career, so it's great to see him and his coaching team passing on the wealth of knowledge they have. The facilities they use at Stonyhurst are top class and cater to any weather conditions. These camps will be the closest to a professional environment while also also being good fun for anyone!'
Sam Bedlow, Sale Sharks Centre
'My 10 year old grandson is still talking about how much he enjoyed the Stonyhurst Rugby Camp in August. On arrival, not having been there before, he was very impressed by the college buildings and grounds . He knew no one else who was attending but quickly made friends. The camp was very well organised. He came away enthused and feeling he had learnt a great deal and it is no surprise that he is keen to return next year.'
John O'Driscoll - Stonyhurst OS, Ireland International & British Lion:
'As a young player, I took pride in representing my school and local club, playing with my mates each week. I learned a lot at that level, but exposure to representative rugby with Lancashire and North of England U18s introduced me to elite players, stronger opposition, and top-quality coaching, which helped me develop my game.
It was through Lancashire that I met Dino, whose world-class insight and support were invaluable. As both a coach and a friend, he has guided me for over 12 years. The coaching I received there was crucial to my early development, providing the foundation to play for Loughborough Students in National League 1 while earning my degree, before progressing to professional rugby with Sale Sharks, Jersey Reds, and now London Irish.'
