This isn’t just a job; it’s an experience that shapes you as much as the students you guide.
This isn’t just a job; it’s an experience that shapes you as much as the students you guide.
A unique international community
Every summer, students join us from Europe, Asia, and the Americas, bringing languages, stories and perspectives that make our programme truly global. As a member of our team, you’ll work at the heart of this dynamic community—helping students build confidence, curiosity and friendships that last long after the summer ends.
Your role in our summer experience
Whether you teach, lead activities, coach sports or guide academic projects, you play a vital role in bringing the Stonyhurst Experience to life. Our staff are mentors, motivators, and role models—ensuring that every student feels supported, challenged and inspired throughout their time with us.
Residential life at Stonyhurst
All summer school positions are fully residential, in-house roles.
You’ll live on site in our historic boarding houses, sharing in the energy of the programme and forming strong bonds with fellow staff and students. Residential life is rewarding, lively and truly at the heart of what makes the Stonyhurst summer community so special.
Who we are looking for
We welcome enthusiastic, dedicated individuals who bring warmth, initiative and a genuine love of working with young people. Our ideal candidates are adaptable, team-minded and ready to embrace the busy rhythm of summer school life. Experience in education, pastoral care, sport, activities or international environments is welcomed but not always essential.
A culture of care, safeguarding and support
At Stonyhurst, the welfare of every young person is our highest priority. All staff uphold the strongest safeguarding standards and receive thorough training before the programme begins. You’ll be part of a supportive team where collaboration, professionalism and care are central to everything we do.
