Stonyhurst is a special place to study but also to work. From its foundation in 1593, Stonyhurst has become the UK’s leading co-educational Catholic boarding and day school for 3-18 year olds.
Central to our pupils success and happiness is our talented and committed staff body, who work with our children to achieve their goals and support them in whichever way this may be. Stonyhurst is diverse in terms of the academic, cultural and sporting backgrounds of its children, and we celebrate this diversity.
Every year we welcome students from many different countries and cultures, which provides us all with a unique opportunity to learn about the world. Every year we not only welcome children from European countries such as Italy, Poland, Germany, France, Spain, and the Netherlands but from further afield such as South Korea, Hong Kong and Mexico. The Stonyhurst Experience offers a combination of courses for children aged between 10 and 17 years of age. The young people in our care are given the individual attention, encouragement, resources and space to experience student life at Stonyhurst.
Stonyhurst is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and overseas police check if applicable.
