Sports Facilities
In the beautiful setting of the Stonyhurst estate are a multitude of private sports facilities including a 25m indoor swimming pool, indoor tennis dome, a golf simulator, a brand new state of the art all-weather pitch, indoor sports hall, and dance studio.
Use of all the College sports facilities are at an additional rate of hire and can be booked in advance by your Events Co-ordinator.

FUNCTION AND MEETING ROOMS
Stonyhurst College features several function rooms, ranging from traditional and listed to modern and functional.
Each function room can be equipped with a full range of conferencing material.
For non-residential, short-term lettings, there is a variety of catering options on offer, from a two or three course served meal, to a hot buffet in the refectory or a cold buffet lunch in the function room of your choosing. Each enquiry is dealt with on an individual basis to suit specific requirements.

The Stonyhurst Collection & Group Tours
The College is also blessed with an awe-inspiring collection of artefacts reaching back to the sixteenth century. Amongst this collection is an Egyptian mummy, Arthur Conan Doyle’s school desk, the table on which Cromwell is reputed to have slept the night before the Battle of Preston in 1648 and a collection of historic manuscripts including a copy of Shakespeare’s first folio.
It is these special features which make Stonyhurst a unique venue and will serve to enhance the experiences of those hiring its facilities.
