Co-curricular
Co-curricular Wholeness
At Stonyhurst, education extends far beyond the classroom. Through sport, creativity, adventure, leadership and enrichment opportunities, pupils are encouraged to discover their passions, develop confidence and grow as well-rounded individuals.
Rooted in Jesuit values and the principle of cura personalis – care for the whole person – our co-curricular provision helps pupils build resilience, teamwork, leadership and lifelong friendships within a vibrant and supportive community.
From the earliest years through to Sixth Form, co-curricular opportunities are thoughtfully tailored to each stage of a pupil’s journey, ensuring every child is both challenged and supported as they grow.

A Holistic Education
Co-curricular life is central to a Stonyhurst education. From sport and performing arts to outdoor adventure, leadership and enrichment activities, pupils are encouraged to participate fully in the life of the school community and develop skills that extend far beyond academic achievement.
Whether performing on stage, competing on the sports field, taking part in outdoor pursuits or contributing to school societies and events, pupils are supported in developing confidence, character and a strong sense of community.
