Stonyhurst is a special place to study but also to work. From its foundation in 1593, Stonyhurst has become the UK's leading co-educational Catholic boarding and day school for 3-18 year olds.

Stonyhurst Summer School 2026

Every year we offer a world-class summer language programme for pupils aged 10-17. Our Stonyhurst Summer School provides a unique opportunity for children from around the world to immerse themselves in the English language, explore British and global culture, and develop lifelong friendships. Our residential courses offer a structured, supportive, and inspiring environment, ensuring each pupil benefits from engaging lessons, expert tuition, and exciting activities.  We are now inviting enthusiastic and committed individuals to apply for roles within our Summer School team and help deliver this exceptional experience.

Working with the pupils and staff at Stonyhurst is a privilege. The support from the staff community is overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. The pupils are a diverse mix of open and considerate young people who create a vibrant and caring atmosphere from the classroom to the boarding houses. They truly are a pleasure to teach.
