An evening of music by Fauré

Schola Cantorum gave a concert of music by Fauré on Friday March 6th in St Peter’s Church. The programme included his Requiem, (soloists: William Lamb, Robert Simpson and Genevieve Turner) and Cantique de Jean Racine as well as two solo items: Les roses D’Aspahan, sung by Olivia Haworth, and Sicilienne, played by Noah Williams on trombone.

The Director of Schola Cantorum, Dr Morgan, said: “There was a very fine choral ensemble, sung with confidence.”

Friday May 22nd: Great Academies Concert. St Peter’s Church, 3pm
