Annual Fund

The 2021/2022 was launched in October and, thanks to the Stonyhurst family’s generosity, we have already received funding for six of our projects, as well as bursary donations to The Stonyhurst Foundation.

·         A dedicated cricket net system for Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall (£30,000)

·         Four new rowing machines (£4,000)

·         Restocking the canals with a shoal of juvenile Tench (£1,500)

·         A display case for the magnificent Henry VII Cope, on loan to the Stonyhurst Collections from the British Jesuit Province (£10,000)

·         A memorial to the St Omers Martyrs (£10,000)

·         Support for the Magis Community at Stonyhurst (£10,000)

This is an absolutely amazing response and one that will bring immediate benefits to all of our pupils.

However, with your help we would like to do more and complete the remaining projects within the Fund.

·         A Golf Simulator – allowing more pupils to enjoy golf at Stonyhurst whatever the weather.

·         Benches for our ‘Embroidered Meadow’ – a place for quiet reflection and contemplation.

·         Stonyhurst Parents’ Committee – working to replant the Mission Garden at St Mary’s Hall.

All of these projects have received some funding but remain short of their final target.  If we were to receive the outstanding funding before the end of this Easter Term then all of our current pupils will be able to experience the benefits of them within this academic year.

We hope that you might be able to consider supporting one of these projects, knowing that your gift however large or small, will make a tangible difference to our pupils.  The easiest way to make a gift is through our online JustGiving page, www.justgiving.com/campaign/stonyhurstannualfund2021
