CCF News

The Stonyhurst College CCF recently enjoyed a full day training in various activities. For Junior Company practising and furthering their Drill along with, Skill at Arms Instruction on the Cadet GP Rifle, basic Navigation training, Field Craft and a Heart Start programme (First Aid).

Senior Company began the morning with drill in preparation for Remembrance Sunday. The afternoon they practised further Field Craft, Camouflage and Concealment with a Close Quarter Battle Lane in the woods above Harry Meadow involving paintball guns shooting on to static targets.

We were blessed with marvellous weather which enhanced the cadets experience, well done to all who participated.

On another note, our very own RSM B Livesey attended Marina Hall, Fleetwood to be presented with the prestigious Lord Lieutenants Award for Meritorious Service. The Award was presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, Lord Shuttleworth, a more deserving and worthy recipient there couldn't be, well done RSM.
