Theodore House Appoints Business Manager as Part of their Reboot Plan

Theodore House has taken active steps to help reboot the business at its incredible venue, after what has been a long shutdown due to the effects of the pandemic, not long after opening the venue in 2019. They have appointed a new member of the team, Mr Michael Jackson who joins them as business manager.

Stefan Kaminski, Director of The Christian Heritage Centre charity, which is the lease-holder of Theodore House, was pleased to announce the new appointment of Mr Michael Jackson as business manager for Theodore House. Mr Jackson comes with a wealth of business experience both nationally and internationally, with an emphasis on communications and marketing, as well as owning his own business. “We are delighted to have Michael as part of the team. His enthusiasm, experience and creative approach to business are exactly what we need to help restart operations at Theodore House,” said Mr Kaminski.

Theodore House, a unique proposition for conference, event, business meeting and B&B needs, is set in the beautiful backdrop of the Stonyhurst Estate in the Ribble Valley. Theodore House was carefully renovated by The Christian Heritage Centre at Stonyhurst – a Catholic educational charity – as a study, retreat and conference venue, winning the 2019 regional Building Excellence award from LABC, and opened in 2019.

With a total of 24 bedrooms, all of which are ensuite, either single or twin occupancy, a comprehensive continental breakfast is included as standard. The rooms are designed to offer a fresh, modern and comfortable ambiance. Theodore House also boasts a very spacious, modern and light-filled central atrium venue with excellent acoustics. Accommodating 80 persons and set in an unforgettable peaceful location, it is ideal for those larger conferences, lectures, PR launches or training events. The partitions with the meeting rooms on either side of the Atrium can be folded away offering a much larger space for up to 150 people, should the capacity be needed. The two meeting rooms offer excellent space for up to 35 people with soundproofing and privacy blinds. With IT and audio-visual equipment, Wi-Fi, ample parking and onsite catering facilities, Theodore House guarantees that perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Relaxing peace and calm, beautifully nestled within an unbelievable backdrop of incredible natural beauty, ensures that our unique Theodore House experience is the perfect place for you to be.

“I was looking for an opportunity that offered me a completely new challenge. Theodore House is an incredible facility, that offers a unique perspective on B&B and commercial venue hire. The location is stunning and there is a genuine sense of peace and calm for all those who decide to be guests with us. The facilities are modern, comfortable and flexible. Many people will be surprised to realise that we are actually here and open for business. I see this as a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the growth of Theodore House as well as supporting the very important work of The Christian Heritage Centre charity,” commented Mr Jackson.
