“I joined St Mary’s Hall in 2005, going into Lower Elements with my sister, Emily, starting in the year above me. At first I found it difficult to get used to the frequent sport sessions in the Ribble Valley weather, but soon I became a passionate and dedicated hockey player which continued throughout my time at Stonyhurst and still plays an important part in my life today. Other highlights of my time at Stonyhurst include CCF training in the Welsh countryside, organising Poetry Banquet for over 300 guests, picnicking at the River Hodder and making a short horror film in the More Library. The friends I made over my ten years at Stonyhurst St Mary’s Hall and Stonyhurst remain my closest friends to this day.”
