The chaplaincy provides comprehensive support and resources for pupils, families and staff during this time, mindful of the particular challenges posed by the current situation and the increased need to feel connected and spiritually nourished. The weekly whole school mass is live-streamed each week and remains a popular and important community celebration. In addition, there is weekly worship at classroom and playroom level, and daily prayer resources are posted for individual use, including morning prayers and an end of day Examen. Family sacred space is a weekly prayerful meditation recorded by a different St Mary's Hall family each week and designed for families to use to pray together at home. The chaplaincy supports links with a range of organisations and initiatives including Jesuit Missions and Laudato Si, the Pope’s encyclical about care for the environment, through which the children are encouraged to engage in a range of projects at home, being loving, compassionate and above all active in their faith.
