Sport

Sport, both team and individual, is an essential component in the daily lives of our pupils. All children take part and represent the school in the wide range of sport that we are able to offer using the fine facilities in our beautiful setting.

We have a long history of sporting success. All pupils compete in cross-country, swimming and athletics. There are numerous other sports on offer including football, tennis, rugby, gymnastics and horse-riding.

School Life

Every child has the opportunity to enjoy a weekly swimming lesson in our on-site heated indoor pool; taught by qualified swimming teachers. The children also take part in a PE/Games lesson each week; taught by specialist teachers.

Sports Days are a highlight of Pre-Prep life, and from the earliest days of egg and spoon to the sack race; it is a day enjoyed by all. Parents are invited to watch the fixture where good sportsmanship and achievement is celebrated.

There is a healthy interline (house) tournament in all team sports, however Pre-Prep do not compete against other schools.
