Today the Bursar Simon Marsden presented the money raised from the fantastic London to Paris 24 bike ride to the three charities involved. The ride took place in May as part of the 425 celebrations with 35 of our incredibly adventurous staff and parents taking on the challenge of cycling from London to Paris in under 24 hours!

The final figure raised from donations towards this huge undertaking was an incredible £13583.60 and was split equally between the three charities; the Stonyhurst Children's Holiday Trust, the Stonyhurst Pilgrimage Trust and the Xavier Project.

Deputy Headmaster Michael Gibson said ‘The experience has been incredibly rewarding in bringing together both staff and parents from across the Stonyhurst community and uniting them together in one common goal - to cycle from London to Paris over the course of a day and celebrate 425 years of Stonyhurst in the process.’ ‚Äč
