Our U13 Rudiments boys scaled new sporting heights on Monday this week as they swept the competition aside to be crowned U13 county champions. There was stiff opposition en route to victory with the likes of Lancaster Grammar and Kirkham Grammar proving formidable sporting adversaries. However the ‘quant je puis’ spirit shone through and, ultimately, the boys were crowned victorious.

The competition took place at Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Club, on the artificial pitch. The team advanced through the group stages unbeaten, meeting Kirkham Grammar School in the final. Tries from Captain Daniel and Harry secured the cup, in a convincing 15 - 0 victory.

This is a significant sporting achievement that our boys have managed such a feat and indeed the first time in the competition’s 21-year history. The victorious team consisted of Daniel (captain), Jacob (vice-captain), Hugo, Quinn, Rolo, Calon, Alvaro, Sam, Sebastian, Zephyr, Rodrigo, Sebastian, Thomas, Mark, Harry and Jaime.

Congratulations to them all on a remarkable achievement!
