Routes of Study
A Choice for Every Learning Style
Sixth Form life offers endless opportunities and it can often feel overwhelming navigating the best path for future outcomes. With subject choices often determining further study, including university courses and degree apprenticeships, as well as future careers, it is very worthwhile getting to know what’s on offer before committing to a pathway of learning at aged 16.
Our Sixth Form offers three pathways of study: A levels, International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBDP) and the Cambridge Technical Diploma (CTEC) in Business or Sport, which you can find out more about in the section below.
Offering the choice three programmes means that Stonyhurst is able to cater to a wide range of learning styles and interests, with the A level and IB routes in particular providing a wide range of subjects to choose from. Our teaching staff will be happy to discuss the available options and help you to make the best decisions for your future.
