Thomas Weld Lunch in London

Our Thomas Weld Society Legacy Lunch took place on Wednesday 5th February in London. This was the first time we had held a legacy lunch away from Stonyhurst and was by request from the members who could not make such a long trip back to Lancashire. The chaos of a tube strike did not put off our guests and a small gathering was held in the Picture Room at the prestigious Athenaeum Club and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The lunch was hosted by the Association President, Judge James Hanratty, who gave an interesting and informative talk about the Club and the wonderful portraits in the Picture Room. This was followed by an update of the College by the Headmaster and then a tour of the Athenaeum Club by Judge Hanratty.
